How much time elapsed after “the thing” sank and was photographed?
Already fully covered with silt?

UFO-shaped LOL
I had the same question.
We have those all over my property. Here we call them rocks. The small ones are called stones, the broken ones are gravel and that one in the video, we would call that a Big Freaking Rock. LOL

I saw a face on it, I swear I saw a face! It looked like it was eating a corny dog! Who could that be? I though corny dogs were invented at the Texas State Fair in the 60’s...... or sumpthin’!

Probably an old nuclear reactor the Soviets dumped into the ocean as they were known to do.
I hope those divers took some iodine pills with them...

"The UFO hunters and MUFON guys would call this a USO, for Unidentified Submersible Object. Just sayin'. ..... Well, in that case I must disagree with MUFON and UFO Hunters ..... since the origin of the object or structure in question is still unknown ... perhaps "submerged" would be a more accurate term to use since submersible implies that the object or structure spends time outside of the marine environment. As far as I know .... Not enough information is known to make that implication or assertion at this time.
It could still be a natural occurring anomaly.

Ken522: Thats the exact design for the Mellenium Falcon! Amazing! How did Speilberg know about this back in the late 70s? nhoward14: SPEILBERG??? Dont you mean Lucas???
Speilberg, Lucas, whatever - they both got the info from the same place.
What do you think, it's only about the funny apron?

I think the USO term more likely covers objects that have been witnessed at sea either landing and submerging, like the Shag Harbor, Nova Scotia incident in 1967 or just underwater lights that are unidentified. Either term works for me.
While on the flying bridge of a tuna boat heading for San Diego on a dark night about 40 years ago, a big phosphorescent streak like a torpedo suddenly appeared to starboard headed right for us at high speed - it was a porpoise who wanted to ride our bow wave for a while. I guess that was an ISO :>)

Swamp gas. It can take whatever form it wants. In this example, the swamp gas is a UFO. In the Mt. Lassen, California, region, it would be called bigfoot. In Scotland, it’s the Loch Ness monster.
Happy I could help. :-)
