I had a woman at some customer service desk the other day introduce herself as “Lavoris”.
I had to laugh, because I thought it was a mouthwash from the sixties or seventies that they didn’t make any more.
I figured they had some computer program that spit out names like “Latashina” and “Lonatalina” and such. I thought it would be pretty funny if it spit out “Lavoris”.
But I guess they still make Lavoris, which makes it less funny but more cruel, somehow.
I guess.
I have a grandchild that was born extremely premature in Memphis. Those tiny babies in the NICU were all black and had names longer than they were!
