I have know this for about what 20 years since the LA riots. I lived in Pittsburg California which any one that has lived there knows has its bad parts of town. We were told by our apartment manager not to go down town for our own safety. Why because we were of a certain color group. I worked for a carpet cleaning business and was going to be sent to Richmond on a job. The one black guy at work told my boss that he was crazy for trying to send me. Why because my skin pigment was a lighter shade of pale.;) Then I worked in Sacramento as a lab tech who goes to peoples homes to draw blood and do insurance exams and many times I was scoffed at or flat out told they didn’t trust me doing their exams cause I am white. I was told that to my face. So i have learned over fourty years we are all equal but in the last 20 I have seen nothing but reverse racism.
