For the life of me, I'll never understand why the Left hates Bush (Compassionate Conservative) so much. I can understand it if they hated Reagan, but Bush? He bent over backwards to compromise with the Left. He refused to defend himself when the Left attacked him. If was his failure to defend himself that helped the Democrats take control of Congress in 2006. The Left should love Bush like they love McCain...

Why does the left hate Bush? Simple. He refused to step-down and hand Gore the election.

Make no mistakes, they hate Reagan as much, he simply has been out of office too long to blame everything on him. Look at many leftists rants and they will still invoke Reaganomics as the “death of democracy”. Liberalism really is a mental disorder.
