The number of Americans filing for first-time unemployment benefits climbed last week, indicating continued trouble for the labor market.
The Labor Department reported Thursday that 386,000 people filed new jobless claims in the week ended June 9, up 6,000 from the previous week's revised figure.

Unemployment has been declining here for a while, still historically high though. Commuter traffic was almost back to normal levels until a month or two ago. Falling off again. School letting out for summer doesn’t explain it all. I expect the local unemployment numbers to show an increase with the next reporting cycle.
How many weeks in a row have they revised up?
