"Your grandchildren will call Mormons Christians, and look at Mormonism as the third branch of Christianity alongside Catholicism and Protestantism"

You were almost making sense up to that point.

Back to Kolob with you.

That was where he started to lose me too, but you have to expect a Mormon to be a Mormon. That's why I object to this "back to Kolob" jibe of yours. A Mormon is going to be a Mormon. In the meantime we have a country to save from the impending disaster that has been brought about by sixty-plus years of collectivist subversion. Can't we who want to patch and right the ship stop fighting among ourselves for long enough to stop it from going under and drowning us all? Especially since there are so many (non-Mormon) Americans and others that continue to punch new holes in the hull below the waterline?

This displays an astounding ignorance of Christian History and Theology. First of all, it overlooks the existence of the Orthodox; secondly it overlooks the Catholic stance on Mormon baptism — Catholic Baptism, Orthodox Baptism, and traditional Protestant Baptism are identical—Mormons do not share this foundation, which is fundamental to christianity, at least in the eyes of the Catholic Church, http://www.doctrinafidei.va/documents/rc_con_cfaith_doc_20010605_battesimo_mormoni_en.html and I will bet everything that the Church does not reverse this stance even in the time of my grandchildrens’ grandchildren—what has been written has been written; and finally, theologically Mormonism is nuts—the people may be nice, and it is probably a nicer form of nuts than Islam, but if my grandhildren call Mormons Christian, I am going to be very annoyed at the failure of my children to educate their children (I’m a Catholic Theologian and my wife and I homeschool).

Also, at least as far as this Freeper goes, no vote for Romney. I may write in his VP if the choice is solid, but I will write in some one else for President—probably Coolidge. I have opted for write in or third party when better RINOs than Romney were running, though I have to say, at least he campaigns like he wants the thing. The childeren of this generation are wiser in their way than the sons of light.

LOL! Exactly where I fell off the log.

Grig, my granddaughter, who lives with us, will be carefully taught that polytheism and Christianity are incompatible, that the Jesus of Mormonism is that false Christ of which the true Christ warned us, that this American experiment with Gnosticism initiated by Joe Smith is the same kind of error the Apostle John warned us was coming, and to have nothing to do with it, because it is of the spirit of antichrist. See 2 John 1:10-11.

It is sad then to see you translate our sincere effort to obey the teachings of Jesus and his apostles as hatred toward you. It is not.

Let me ask you a question. What does love do for the one loved? If I see my child run into a busy street, do I calmly ignore it? Or do I go yelling after the child and give myself no rest until they are safely out of harm’s way?

What you see as hatred, we see as love. We do not want souls lost. We have seen the desolation of being lost, because at one point we ourselves were hopelessly trapped in the prison of unforgiven sin. Jesus saved us. He is the eternal God, and there is only one God who saves souls, and he will not give his glory to another. Believe me when I say, more loving words than those do not exist in this or any other language.
