I for one do not believe that voting for Romney is a vote for standing up for the principles of a nation "Under God".

I almost agree, because I do not trust Romney. On the other hand I don't simply not trust Bambi, I absolutely know I CAN trust him to continue the most destructive administration ever if he wins.

I believe that Romney is our test.

Romney is not much of a test, more like a pop quiz compared to Bambi who is more like a final exam. Ridding ourselves of the scourge of the worst administration ever has to happen, there is no if ands or buts about it.

This idea that you aren't going to compromise your pinciples means you should never vote. No one is perfect, no one is totally principled, not even you, no one is even close.

Thank God that we have citizens that won't compromise their principles.

I made a vow that I would NEVER vote for a candidate who was pro-abortion. Romney's record as a pro-abort is as bad as Obama's.

No one is perfect, no one is totally principled, not even you, no one is even close.

Not all imperfect people are radical pro-abortion, pro-homosexuality, pro-gay marriage, pro-gay adoption. I think there are some sinners out there who aren't quite in the same league with Romney. I'll vote FOR them.

If you will vote for an unprincipled man, a man you say you're sure you cannot trust, then why do you have problems with someone choosing to follow what you say is something you understand?

M akes no sense to me.

And, Sister Betty, why do you see a problem with being called situationally principled when that is what you are arguing for?

Come on Lakeshark, if we were talking about an actual conservative with "flaws" you might have a point.

We're not.

In Mitt Romney we're talking about a lying, left-wing, Progressive Liberal, as his own EXTENSIVE record shows him to be.

This isn't just about compromising your principles, but ignoring your God-given conscience, your ethics and your morals.

You would have us vote for a known, documented, serial and constant liar.

A man who constantly practiced "Bearing false witness against his neighbor" while straight out lying about his Progressive Liberal past.

A man who just recently stated that Gays adopting children was the American way.

A man who is responsible for implementing Gay Marriage in MA, even after being warned by conservative leaders and jurists that what he and the Supreme Court were doing was unconstitutional and then he flat out lied about it and is continuing to do that to this day.

A man who implemented Socialized Medicine in MA and falsely claimed it fell under the 10th Amendment.

A man who implemented his own "Assault" Weapons Ban AFTER the federal ban was allowed to expire.

A man who after claiming he had a "Pro-Life" conversion, then went ahead and continued to nominate extremist left-wing, jurists to the bench.

Sorry, but the only way you can with a straight face push a Progressive Liberal loser like Mitt Romney, is to totally forget the only thing we as conservatives have to measure the truthfulness of his current pandering words, his record.

And once his record is stacked up against his current words AND lies, it's like another poster unwittingly replied earlier up-thread, choosing who to vote for between Obama and Mitt is like the difference between choosing Cyanide versus arsenic. They'll both kill you in the end.
