From the article: In documents obtained by KDKA-TV investigators, the Attorney General’s Office indicates former vice president Schultz kept a secret file with allegations regarding Sandusky and sex abuse. This comes after an NBC report alleges Spanier did not report alleged abuse because it would be humane to Sandusky to not report the matter. “Only recently was the commonwealth provided with a file containing documents relating to incidents involving Sandusky,” a statement from the Attorney General’s office says. “The file was created, maintained and possessed by Schultz. Documents in that file are inconsistent with statements by Schultz and his co-defendant, Curley, to the Grand Jury. “Also, the commonwealth has come into possession of computer data (again, subpoenaed long ago but not received from PSU until after the charges had been filed in this case) in the form of e-mails between Schultz, Curley and others that contradict their testimony before the Grand Jury.” Sources close to the investigation confirm both e-mails in the file kept by Schultz as well as e-mails found in computer data indicate high-ranking Penn State officials, including Spanier, Schultz and former athletic director Tim Curley, knew about an alleged sexual assault that took place in the Penn State locker room shower.

Well...this goes beyond charges of perjury.

These three should be charged related to crimes tied to the cover-up (failure to report child abuse).

They not only aided and abetted child sexual abuse after-the-fact, but by letting a child serial rapist stay free they were moral accomplices to any and all other crimes committed at some point after this discovery.

If Spanier, Schultz and Curley are not charged, it'll be evidence of yet another Penn State cover-up!

Penn State needs to clean house of its athletic department staff, any remnant still left of its football-related staff, and its on-campus "police department" as well...since "who knew" info will be further uncovered...

They probably won't charge McQueary for state's evidence he's turned in -- and will continue to turn in -- but he's just as guilty as Spanier, Schultz, Curley, and Joe Paterno.

Wow. Hard to believe that all these “smart” people could be so stupid. And for what? To be humane to some pedophile. It boggles the mind.

The lib hag, Maureen Dowd, is covering this for the NYTimes. Happily, she is not trying to defend Sandusky and the gay pride agenda that helped create and perpetrate this disgrace. YET.

I’m wondering when one of the jury members is going to be literally sick all over herself with the details that are coming out at this disgrace. My heart is breaking for these young men.

Let’s not forget that Spanier was a big lib, full of ideas about the progressive ways that people should be ruled. Uh-huh.

What amazes me is by the victims’ testimonies, some spent more than 100 nights at Sandusky’s place, with much of the abuse occurring in the house with Sandusky’s wife upstairs. All those years these abuses happened, and she had no idea? If so, that woman has got to be one of the most clueless, unaware people on the face of the earth.

I am sure that college (and even high school athletics) sports harbor many homosexual and abusive staff members ;but all is covered if the teams win.

A good friend of mine was abused by the jocks in high school in the 1970s,and he left school while the jocks continued to be lauded for on-the-field performance.Everyone ought to know many schools fail to teach the jocks academically ,so the ones who don’t make pro aren’t prepared for much else.

why this guy hasn’t eaten a bullet by now is a mystery.

I agree that this should be vigorously covered by the press
and the guilty punished to the max.
But maybe the press can take a few minutes away from the sensationalism & dig into the resident in the white hut.

Schultz thought Sandusky needed humane treatment, not the victims. (Shaking my head in amazement).

Look how many people have been pulled into this now. Paterno’s legacy is ruined.

Evil loves company, it NEEDS company. It can’t stand what it sees in the mirror, so it requires acceptance and validation from outside itself. Satan harvests souls for their life-force (which comes from God). Satan cut himself off from the life force, so he gets it from people who still have some connection.

Officials “including” the three we already know about.
More names are about to drop.

A conspiracy to commit the rape of little boys.

This is sickening and heinous beyond belief.

What some will do for f’en SPORTS is un believable.
As a kid I couldnt stand “gym” and showering with a bunch of other boys while the coach stood there watching and handing out towels.
I think there all a bit perverted with all the ass grabing that went on

Well, if I was to create a "Twilight Zone" parallel of the trial of a "big football program child rapist and cover-up" involving the NitKinseyLionizing I'd have...

An 11-1 hung jury...
...Followed by the prosecutor bringing the trial to jury for Round II...
...With that one being an 11-1 hung jury...
...Ensued by the prosecutor bringing the trial to jury for Round III...(only this time the judge starts to allow video tapes from the victims...so they are not forever re-victimized)...
...With that one being an 11-1 hung jury...
...And then keep that re-cycle going in perpetuity...
...ALL until EVERY adult associated with Penn State who lives in "Happy Valley" has had a chance to serve as either a member of the jury or alternate...
...So they can FINALLY see that "Happy Valley" ain't such a "Happy" happenin' place!

Hmmm...Imagine that...Happy Valley as 'Hung Jury Hell'...all presented for your consideration...

The coverup almost exceeds the crime. There are several who will do hard time for perjury.

The coverup makes Penn State especially vulnerable to civil suits from the many boys who were molested.

Just maybe this uber-liberal university will be bankrupted and closed.

John McQueary (Mike's dad) testified this morning that he followed up on the incident a couple of months later with Gary Schultz (hmmm, McQueary's father followed up on this, but Paterno supposedly didn't?).

According to John McQueary, Schultz told him that "had heard noise about this [Sandusky's issues] before, earlier than Mike's report."

Well, the 1998 incident, certainly, and who knows what else.

Spanier has experience in hiding scandals.

I know the coroner’s report didn’t mention suicide in Joe Paterno’s death, but has that ever been speculated? Paterno must have known these recent revelations would come and maybe the shame of not speaking louder years ago was just too much for him.
