Is known to be a fact that Sandusky’s wife knew?
McQueary should have walked into the shower and got the boy by the arm and led him to where his clothes were and told him to get dressed. He then should have looked Sandusky eye to eye and told him to go home and kill himself because he was about to be outed for exactly what he is. He should have taken the boy to the police and told them what he witnessed so that the boy could have been taken to a hospital and been examined for rape. Sandusky would not have been able to continue his crimes right under the noses of the higher ups at Penn State. What a cesspool.
McQueary was afraid for his job. He wanted to be an assistant coach at Penn State, and he was rewarded with his dream job for helping to squelch the scumbags criminal behavior. Paterno was as guilty as McQueary.
They won’t prosecute him. I’m sure he’s got immunity from anything like that because he is their star witness and they need his testimony to convict Sandusky.
They won’t indict him because they need him to testify. It’s infuriating, but it happens all the time in the legal system. The small fish get away if they rat out the big fish.
Sadly, that is what happens more often than not.
But if McQ had called the law when he should have, it might not be an issue. He could have testified with his head held high.
Dang...I hate when my idealism gets in the way.
He wouldn’t have a job at Penn State had he done that. (does he still?)
“But if McQ had called the law when he should have, it might not be an issue.”
Yes, and who knows how many other children might have escaped the predations of Sandusky. That’s something that McQ will have to live with for the rest of his life, and if he has any conscience, that is a form of punishment in and of itself.

I’m sure he does, unless he quit. Otherwise, he’s got one hell of a lawsuit on his hands under whistleblower/retaliation laws.
No, but I think a lot of folks assume it because he was allegedly abusing boys in his home, right under his wife’s nose, on a regular basis. I’m not so sure, since not only is love blind, but it’s blinding. People often just can’t perceive bad things about the people they love, even if the truth would be obvious to everyone else.
I have to admit that I do not know for a fact that she knew. I believe there was enough evidence that she looked the other way, especially when Sandusky would take these kids down to the basement. What wife wouldn’t ask questions?
He not only remained with the team, but he got promos...first as WR coach...then the key recruitment position.
Penn State rewards non-"tattle-tellers" of serial child rapists.
The Big 10 needs to be flushed...first child abuse gets sanctioned @ the University of Indiana under Kinsey over 50 years ago...now this...
I agree.
After he was exposed everyone bent over backwards to stay connected with him and permit him to carry on. Too much love from the men around the monster to pretend they were concerned for the welfare of the boys.
Pervs had a nation-wide boy homo ring set up in the Boy Scouts and no one minded until the law suits began. They have been fighting hard to re-establish it ever since. And no one need wonder why they are so committed to establishing the gay clubs and porn grooming sessions in public schools.
Too many men don’t care about boys, I guess.
The gays only care about boys for their pleasure and the perpetuation of their perversion. They cannot procreate new gays, so they adopt, indoctrinate, kidnap, confuse, molest, rape, and recruit the next generation.
And the politically correct bend over backwards (pun intended) to help these perverts get 'accepted' and 'celebrated' in society.
