It is obvious the Zimmerman's are not savvy, smart people. They have made a mistake, that if they had told their lawyer in the beginning, would not have been made. I don't understand why money donated for Zimmerman's defense to a fund should be considered their money. If they had used that for bail...it would have been embezzlement or fraud. Someone needed to clarify it all to the judge in a legal way, and that should have been their attorney before bond was set. Obviously the Zimmerman's didn't know to trust their attorneys.

This has turned into a circus and the media is more than happy to crucify them and make them both look like evil people, rather than unravel it and look at the truth and simply dumb things that were done about reporting this fund money. These two people might never have a life worth living in the U.S. after this is over. What a mess.

What makes you think they did not tell their attorney? The original representation quit over the website and the legal defense fund. It was in the news and known prior to O’Mara’s taking up their case. It was also referenced by the judge in front of O’Mara in the hearing and if it was something O’Mara was unaware of he would have immediately objected and sought leave to confer with the client about something material of which he was unaware.

“Obviously the Zimmerman’s didn’t know to trust their attorneys”

Or the attorney dropped the ball.
