Based on this link, it would seem that the transfers are what the judge took issue with, not the Paypal donations.

Bernie's statement here is a blatant lie. She never said that they didn't have a single penny. They already had the tapes of their prison conversation at this hearing and knew that they had some money.
Anyway just what in hell's name are they doing setting bailbond at $150,000 for a defendant who they were misled to believe did not have a single penny. How did they expect him to meet bail with him being penniless???
