You might be surprised. I see nothing in the Constitution restricting gay marriage. Equal protection under the law.

Because until the last part of the 20th century, the word marriage was defined as between a man & woman. It would be as silly to define marriage in the constitution as it would to define air or water, it was one of those things that was just a given.

Just a given? The founding Fathers new better. If it was not mentioned in the Constitution it is not prohibited. Defined by who?
