Good mornin’!
Morning! How ya feeling today?
Good morning, everyone!
This was rather an amazing weekend. No stress or worry over recalls, no election signs, no campaign ads every other minute, no strangers walking around the neighborhood with clipboards... Nice and normal again. How about them apples?!
Started focusing on my health again Saturday. Legs are totally crap again and I have more to lose than ever. Bought and prepped good foods, drinking lots more water, being extra attentive with my medicines and supplements. Got to get stronger and healthier. If the SHTF now, I’d be sunk.
Mornin’ everybuddy!
Feeling a bit better, was able to walk this morning... still 32 minutes but I’m down about 5 pounds finally.
Ladysmith will today be another day in the lake? Doesn’t that help your legs?
Great to see BHO in so much trouble but I still won’t take anything for granted!
oh!!
That was me again! (No salty talk this time. heh heh!)
Yeah, definitely back into the lake today. I didn’t this weekend because I didn’t feel good Saturday and Sunday, uhhhh, the better foods were... uhhh, well, couldn’t leave the house. (AND we’ll just leave it at that!)
I kind of dropped the ball on the dieting since the wedding. I still have to lose about 60 lbs. I am going to have to start up again too. You are right about the weekend. We went out Saturday morning. Picked strawberries, got our running around done so we didn’t have to go out again and spent the evening processing the strawberries. No politics, no wedding stuff, no stress. Did some lawn mowing. Did some gardening. Had son’s friend over for dinner on Sunday and just relaxed. I could use another weekend like that!
How nice is that, eh? Strawberries are early here. I need to get a couple flats and freeze and/or dehydrate them. Rather interesting, I tried dehydrating some and they completely reminded me of those in different cereals. They’re so good in oatmeal.
Ed Rendell...”I tend to tell the truth”.....PUH-LEEESE!
Grrrrr.............. New curling iron (bought the day of the wedding). Screw keeps falling out, we’ve just been down to the basement looking for the right screwdriver - couldn’t find one. Tried putting the screw back in - it fell out again. My hair is a mess. Too fine. Dang! Can we back up to Friday night again?!
Moosechelle gets her own TV show.....NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
Ducttape!!
Rose talking about food reminded me. Yesterday David Venable made breakfast poppers on QVC. Some grits mixed with some bacon fat, chopped bacon, cream cheese, shredded cheese, green onions....refridge for awhile I think, roll into balls, dip in flour, egg and breading then deep fry. Yum! I would add some jalapeno...maybe chopped tomato and serve with a white sausage dipping gravy.
That’s not the exact recipe but pretty close.
Good morning n’@!
Sounds like we all had pretty relaxing weekends...which is good...we need it! Any of Yinz ever read the Ulsterman blog? It’s not allowed to be linked here @FR...but yoi..things they have been blogging about are happening...scary stuff...and fascinating beyond belief!
Sneakers...I switched from curling iron to Velcro covered hot rollers...much gentler on the hair &quicker too..
OH NOES!!! OBAMA GIRL RAP ON AIR-—HEAVEN HP US ALL!!! I coulda lived along time and NOT ever heard that crap again!
Morris was the afternoon guy at one of my stations. Basically he paid for several hours a day. Not sure what they will do now...it was his money funding pretty much all of WMNY.
