One of my observations about Texas politics, and by extension the present governor, is that decisions involving power to politics, which in most states would be low profile, in Texas ends up big and unsubtle, as in a plank in a party platform. Texans here at Free Republic brag about conservatism in their state, but there is NOTHING conservative about this: aiding and abetting the violation of Federal Immigration laws in order to reap huge profits from encouraging, employing and protecting illegal aliens.
