Don't patronize me. I didn't misunderstand the phrase "on his own". The president of the homeowners' association knew nothing about George and his petition until the residents started phoning him about it.

Zimmerman was the 'coordinator', the community's liaison to the police department ... he duties included passing out information and flyers to the community, educating block captains, and getting new neighbors involved in the watch. He was supposed to provide the Sanford PD with a list of block captains, but never did.

Maybe your other questions will be answered when Witness 21 takes the stand.

Wendy Dorival said that 25 people attended the initial meeting. That's not a big turnout considering there are 263 residences in the complex.

a little thin skinned are we???

I didn't misunderstand the phrase "on his own".

So then you deliberately misrepresented it.

The president of the homeowners' association knew nothing about George and his petition until the residents started phoning him about it.

Perhaps that's because, as he said in his statement, he had just assumed the position of president of the association and it was his first meeting. Did this new president know about the burglaries??? What was this new president intending to do about those.

Zimmerman was the 'coordinator', the community's liaison to the police department ... he duties included passing out information and flyers to the community, educating block captains, and getting new neighbors involved in the watch. He was supposed to provide the Sanford PD with a list of block captains, but never did.

In case you haven't been paying attention, it wasn't the most cooperative and neighborly of communities. How many of the witnesses testified that they heard screams for help and just closed the door and ignored them??? How many actually called 911???

Wendy Dorival said that 25 people attended the initial meeting. That's not a big turnout considering there are 263 residences in the complex.

And who are you to say??? Did you actually read her statement or misunderstand it or are you deliberately misstating it. She called it "a good turnout of 25 people".

Quit speaking for other people. You misrepresent what they say. You're not a good witness.

I have attended the Homes Association 'meeting' in my 'community', and the numbers were about the same.

Most people seem to be apathetic about the 'needs' in their community, and don't want to waste the time attending meetings.
