Puzzles the dickens out of me. I would have thought it was considered to be a dieting aid, but I’ve never heard of opiates or their dextrorotatory equivalents being dieting aids. One person said it was because it makes the consumer “lean” as in standing bent or tilted. That might be more like it.

Yes, as in hard to stand up straight. Knees bent, difficult to walk. Disoriented.
