Thanks for the ping WKB. I've been over here in poor ol' Southeast Jackson Co., Ms for more than 10 years now. I live a block from the Escatauwpa River and 5 miles from the Gulf of Mexico. Life is tough. We have to deal with all the fish, oysters, crabs, year-round gardens, pecan groves, squirrels, white tails, etc., etc.

Folks around here don't have much money at all but hey, we wouldn't know what to do with it if we did.

You know when i read these sorts of threads i cant tell if folks are stupid....ignorant or obtuse on purpose

All these states except WV are poor for one reason and that poverty is not broad based but limited to one or two particular groups

Which drags down the whole states numbers

Same effect as crime rates and bastard kids

BTW, I just got back from MS. I filled my tank with gas that cost $3.05 per gallon. Before I left Oregon, I filled my tank and it cost $4.20 per gallon.
