The Nevada teachers union filed a business tax initiative today that would raise $800 million a year an outgrowth of the frustration with the failure of the legislative process to increase funding for state government and schools.
If successful, the petition would create the states first tax on business income.
The Education Initiative, which is supported by the Nevada State Education Association and AFL-CIO, the states largest labor umbrella group, would tax businesses generating more than $1 million in annual revenue.

Privatize education.
Frankly, I like the idea. It’s about time the coward business folk that get in bed with the far left and unions in Las Vegas finally realize it sucks to get it in the ass.
Steve Wynn can’t even fully get pissed off enough to do something concrete to stop these parasites.
Maybe they’ll finally be forced to get a spine.
How about a tax on money collected by the Thug Public Employee Unions for political purposes?
Customers pay the business’s taxes; not the business; but the business still gets to write it off, not the customer.
BUT, assume this passes; the fed will be “cheated” out of tax money, because of the “cost” involved in state taxes being a deduction of federal returns.
The federal government will have to increase business taxes to compensate for the lost revenue!

A 50% cut in teachers pay and pension plan would do even more towards balancing the budget!
Better yet close all public schools (propaganda factories) and we could wipe out the environmental freaks that they produce.
