Big Labor's Big Boo Boo (Their Wisconsin Mulligan Shanks Right)
American Thinker ^ | June 6, 2012 | C. Edmund Wright

Wow. Where to start? The "it's gonna be a late night in Madison" notion was virtually over by the end of Happy Hour -- which no doubt did cause some very late nights instead in Washington and Chicago. With little or no happiness at all. And naturally there were also the comparisons to the vibes of the night Scott Brown took down the Kennedy seat in 2009. More on both of these dynamics shortly. The real story is: what happened this spring in Wisconsin was not a recall election at all. Pure and simple, it was a mulligan. A childish do-over. Moreover, it was a battle of government union members and their families against pretty much everyone else. And when that really crystallized in the minds of the voters, the unions' cause was doomed. The name Tom Barrett is irrelevant here. The biggest losers last night -- and there were many -- were big labor generally and public service unions specifically.

Yep, liberalism is mental.

I would love to ask that guy, exactly how did America as we know it end?

In one way, the recall was a civics lesson to all of us. Groups who were upset about Walker’s actions in office got the recall going in the first place. Then the voters had their say.

Unless this guy doesn’t believe in free elections and abiding by results of same, you have to wonder what the heck he is thinking.

Liberals don't think, they feel, hence the tears.

I was worried that voter fraud might come into play here, and I’m not saying that it didn’t. But, if it did, it was held to a minimum and I hope that will also be the case in November.

the pattern has been, if it's a close election, the Dem will usually win. This was not a tight election. I have no doubt that if the election had been closer, that some boxes of ballots would have been "found" somewhere. The margin was just too large to cheat around.

That late visit from BJ Clinton sealed the deal.

He’s not quite the guaranteed “kiss of death” that Baraq is, but good enough in this case.

God bless America.
God bless Wisconsin.

To a Leftist, democracy and elections are only legitimate to the extent that they advance the Leftist agenda.
