Mitt Romney just issued this statement congratulating Scott Walker for his victory in tonight's Wisconsin recall election:
I congratulate Scott Walker on his victory in Wisconsin. Governor Walker has demonstrated over the past year what sound fiscal policies can do to turn an economy around, and I believe that in November voters across the country will demonstrate that they want the same in Washington, D.C. Tonights results will echo beyond the borders of Wisconsin. Governor Walker has shown that citizens and taxpayers can fight back and prevail against the runaway government costs imposed by labor bosses. Tonight voters said no to the tired, liberal ideas of yesterday, and yes to fiscal responsibility and a new direction. I look forward to working with Governor Walker to help build a better, brighter future for all Americans.
Good move by Romney, have to say his ground game is
off to a good atart.
Maybe He should keep “A New Direction” as part of
his advertising.
If only Walker were our nominee...
Mitt, thank the tea party, and think about who they are and what they stand for. Then ask your self, are you really one of them?
“Good move by Romney, have to say his ground game is

Romney’s new slogan should be “Change.” That would drive Obama nuts.
After what he did tonight to the Wisconsin Dem's he would drive the D.C. Dem's crazy!
If you really need a morale boost, wander over to Democratic Underground. They’re hysterical with rage over there. Makes me feel all warm inside.
I am super encouraged. I see this as a big step to remove the blight of socialism on America. Let’s keep this train moving thru November.
Tomorrow will produce a treasure trove of leftard soundbites as their collective brain marinates in the loss.
Also, have the votes from cemetery headstones, mexi-illegals, and bussed-in-union-scum from MI and IL been counted?
Last I heard it was about 88% of the vote in and Walker was still ahead by about 9%, well within the margin of cheating. I think he will finish with 7 to 8% final lead. His vote count is 200,000+ over the dems.
How come we never discover quite by accident that someone doesn’t own or watch tv?
Somehow, they always work it into the conversation.
Well, I’m not telling you. Go watch your neighbor’s TV.
