Thanks for update!
And I think your point is the undercurrent of what this tsunami will look like. Its going to be the anti recall Dems that really kills them in areas they figured would be huge.
Good lock Wisconsin!
From a Florida Redneck.
I spent allot of time in the Baraboo - Dells area back in the 80’s
I am praying for a Walker landslide, to stop any funny-business if it a close one.
FYI- the Bucs are going to put Paul Gruber on their ring of honor this season.
“Thanks for the update”
Your welcome.
I also was trying to convey that Dane Co. is its’ own little political ecosystem. Not trying to say that there is a “silent majority” in Dane by any means.
But I do know there are a lot more people of a conservative mind than past elections results show. Many don’t vote because they have that permanent minority mindset thing going on - things are changing.
For example
In 2008
Dems had 72.8% of the vote in Dane
Rep had 25.82% pretty overwhelming right?
In 2010
Dems had 67.96%
Reps had 30.97%
This year I am looking for 35% for Reps - and am not putting 40% out of bounds with this high turnout. People are just sprung - that’s the only way I can explain it - we’ll see how the numbers turn out later tonight.
Also, I’m sure the inverse is not true in WOW (Washington, Ozaukee, Waukesha Counties) Higher turnout there indicates larger Rep votes - there just isn’t any more people of a Lib mindset in those areas that don’t vote already.
Hope this makes sense - I should probably eat some lunch - so nervous I forgot to eat (getting lightheaded) :-)
