Didn't see an actual thread we could use for a central point for election information today.
Lets do this Wisconsin!!!
No one is commenting on how Obama erred by not finding time to campaign for Barrett, even when he was so close to the State. A defender says he has too much on his plate to worry about Wisconsin ignoring the fact he seems to find plenty of time to fly cross country to raise $$.
Incredible, isn't it? CNN and MSNBC are "reporting" the polar opposite of what we've been hearing on Fox News and FBN all night long. The question about why Obama skipped Wisconsin (when he was in the area recently) and quietly Tweeted his feeble endorsement of Barrett was brought up constantly on all shows on FNC.
All I hard from libs on CNN and on MSNBC in particular (surprise, surprise) was whining about how Barrett was outspent by Republican and out-of-state Tea Party groups.
What a fabulous victory tonight! I sure wish we here in the People's Socialist Republik of Connecticut had a wonderful LEADER like Gov. Scott Walker!
Thanks Mrs. Easternsky, nice to hear from you again!
The Tea Party Express (and other Tea Party groups) can take a bow tonight... you all did a fantastic job on the ground in Wisconsin to secure this victory for Gov. Walker, Lt. Gov. Kleefisch, and the four Republican state senators who were recalled. The entire country thanks all of you!
On to November... Eagles Up!!!
WISCONSIN FOR THE WIN!
WOO HOO!!! Congratulations to the good people of Wisconsin! You've done us proud! On to November!!
And... please give your grandma a hug from all of us FReepers from across America... She helped make history tonight! :o)
Adding my congratulations to all the good folks in WI who went the extra mile to win this one for all of America. I had meetings all evening and didn’t get to keep up with this thread as I usually do, but I’m actually glad I missed it. When I came home the results were already in and I got to celebrate without all the frayed nerves. Jumping up and down and praising the Lord for being so good.
Yep, that's how we got our far-left, union thug Gov. Dannel Malloy here in The People's Socialist Republik of Connecticut in 2010. When Malloy nearly lost to the Republican candidate, the 'RAT Secretary of State suddenly declared an "emergency" and stated that the polls had to stay open an extra two hours - until 10pm ET (unheard of) in Bridgeport, CT - one of the most disgusting, corrupt 'RAT cities in the country. All this so the "voters" wouldn't be "disenfranchised".
The result? A mysterious "bag of votes" was "found" in Bridgeport after that extended election, and Dannel Malloy became our 88th governor. The Republican candidate (Foley) barely fought the results... typical milquetoast RINO.
I don't have time right now to go into detail on just how CT has changed under a 'RAT Governor and 'RAT controlled state legislature. I barely recognize my home state anymore. The 70 new taxes they put into effect is only the tip of the iceberg.
It absolutely sucks... I can't wait 'til the day hubby and I get make our Great Escape out of this liberal hellhole...
Uh oh... after leading by at least 5 point even after 78% of precincts, the Republican incumbent at Senate 21 lost.
Anyone have any inside information on what happened in District 21? This is the usual fraud pattern with the vote count coming in slowly and very late and the Republican, who had been leading all evening, suddenly loses.
Where are you seeing that info? I see Van W up by 5.
Congratulations Gov. Walker for your victory and your nomination as Zombie Warrior, June 2012.

FULL Right To Work across Wisconsin!
My favorite from the DUmp:
66. We all were watching Al Sharpton and Ed Shultz and they had us pumped to win.
So then we crashed?
Maybe? Just a theory.
Maybe, just maybe, a DUmmy learned something tonight.
LOL!
-—Hopefully all states follow Wisconsin’s lead - and toss out collective bargaining just like Walker did.——
It’s also the funding mechanism for the hard core Marxists, so it’s a winner on two levels.
Two fingers are two fingers. Better than nothing. I’m sure it tasted good. I got home a little after 9. On the way back, one of the guys checked on his smartphone, and said CNN was saying “Too close to call”. We talked about that, then spent the rest of the time telling jokes.
I walk in the door, Julie had Fox on, and Walker was declared the winner with 34% in. I go “Huh?” So I had a glass of wine and watched until the tally was at 99%, then hit the sack.
Congratulations to the normal, clear thinking people of Wisconsin.
Congratulations to the Tea partiers for their victory over the thieving union thugs.
Breathing a sigh of relief, a grateful America thanks you all.
Is it the VA in Madison? I tied there as well, except I usually see my doctor at the clinic in Rockford. Haven’t been to the hospital in Madison in a year or more.
My parents are buried in Mound Prairie cemetery West of Twin Lakes on 104th St. So we get back once a year or so. Also have relatives living West of Burlington, just North of hwy 11 (NE of Spring Prairie).
I could see tour buses running along hwy 12, but there’s not much draw in the surrounding country (except Lake Geneva, of course). I doubt Twin Lakes gets many, they don’t have the resort structure they once had.
agree 110%!
How was the whiskey?
