WASHINGTON—The U.S. is pursuing a wide-ranging, high-tech campaign against Iran's nuclear program that includes the cybersabotage project known as Stuxnet, which was developed by the Central Intelligence Agency in conjunction with Idaho National Laboratory, the Israeli government, and other U.S. agencies, according to people familiar with the efforts.

The covert CIA effort also includes persistent drone surveillance and cyberspying on Iranian scientists, they said.

it's good that our government is doing these things, but I can't recall another instance like this one of a sitting presidential administration continuously leaking what should be state secrets solely in order to advance its re-election prospects.

His re-election is what is important.

I once heard a small group of street punks talking about fighting a group of neo-Nazis coming to their area. They were full of bravado about fighting them.

“You do not fight Nazis,” I said to them, “You kill Nazis”.

They quickly changed their tune. But I continued by telling them about the Plains Indians, and how they would fight mock battles, attempting to bop each other on the head, which by doing so, they would “count coup”, and show they were better fighters.

This didn’t work however with the white man, for when they would bop one of them on the head, they would pull out a gun and shoot the Indian.

And this, I continued, shows the difference between teenagers sporting with each other, and adults who fight with intent to kill. It is why a coyote will beat a dog in a fight, because dogs fight to establish dominance, but coyotes only fight to kill.

I say this now, because Obama and company seem to think this conflict with Iran is some kind of teenage slap fight, not nuclear war, which is what Iran wants.

The US had better wise up quick that no matter how good our slaps, it will not matter if the Iranians pitch a nuclear missile at one of our carriers.

You're not kidding! There have been at least 3 leaks which have cut off our gathering of information, including exposing the "double agent" who got the new "underware bomb," and the Dr who will spend the rest of his life in a Pakistani hell-hole prison. And there have been repeated other leaks as well, including this one.

Anyone else notive that when Valerie Plame's name was leaked, it was the number one issue in all the newspapers and tv reports. But not a peep about these VERY REAL national security leaks that are costing people their lives.
