Question: Why is Soledad O'Brien named after a California prison? It seems a rather odd choice for a name.

Just to be fair, her mother is Cuban and Soledad is a Spanish name. Nothing to do with the prison. Her dad by the way is from Australia. As a journalist, she is totally in the tank for the Dems, but otherwise she is not guilty, if you know what I mean.
