Sounds like obfuscation to to keep the farce going. And what I've seen, this prosecutor, who looks like the female gym teacher in the original Porky's movie, she is not above playing games.
I'm not so sure O'Mara has made such a statement. There are lots of inconsistent statements. I especially liked the one witness who saw the black man in handcuffs. It needs to be resolved whether Zimmerman made any materially relevant misleading statements. Try telling a story 5x over and getting all the details right.
