The Almighty State has the absolute right to know everything, doesnt it? Except, when it comes to the trial, the background on the poor unfortunate Trayvon, right? When setting bail and determining whether a defendant is a flight risk, yes, a court is entitled to know about the defendant's finances and any passports that would enable the defendant to leave the country.
