WASHINGTON — From his first months in office, President Obama secretly ordered increasingly sophisticated attacks on the computer systems that run Iran’s main nuclear enrichment facilities, significantly expanding America’s first sustained use of cyberweapons, according to participants in the program.

Mr. Obama decided to accelerate the attacks — begun in the Bush administration and code-named Olympic Games — even after an element of the program accidentally became public in the summer of 2010 ...

Not only is this reckless and improper, it’s really stupid. A cyber attack on another country by itself is only a nuisance. If you want to STOP a country from engaging in a policy, a cyber attack is only effective as a part of a much larger, coordinated attack on that country. In other words, you take down that country’s computer systems to blind them and remove their command & control. It is only effective for a short duration, but during that time, you actually, really, physically ATTACK them.

Did the suxtnet virus stop the Iranians from making nukes? Nope, it only slowed them down. It did not stop them. If a guy is beating you on the head with a two-by-four, your goal is to make him stop, not make him slow down.

Out idiot president does not realize any of this.

(Note to self)
Instead of clumsy Obama campaign to boost his macho image as I originally thought, is it possible that some one(s) inside this admin realized Obama is very likely to lose and leaked this story and secret kill list to media, trying to force him out? Even though leaking both stories are reprehensible.

In the meantime, we see an increase in Bill Clinton's activities?
