I have to side with paine on this one. Our fine men gave their last, full measure of devotion for our nation so that folks would also have the right not to fly the flag. Freedom of speech also gives the owners of the truck stop the right to be complete ungrateful d0uchebags. I don't like it, and will make it a point to boycott them the next time I'm in Texas.
Still, I applaud the trucker for his act of civil disobedience. However, defending the Constitution means it has to apply to everyone.

And I have the right to spend money at any place I like.

The anti-American jerk managing the store isn’t taking a stand for the constitution, he is making a political deliberately insulting protest statement against it, and against the nation, and it’s history.
This is all about private citizens using their constitutional rights calling out an anti-American act formally carried out by a business they frequent.
Let the constitutionally legal boycott begin, (if you two will allow protesting and boycotting from our side).
