In the meeting, Obama reportedly boasted about his knowledge of Judaism, telling the leaders that he thinks he knows more "about Judaism" than all past presidents. He said he gained this knowledge of Judaism from reading.
"Obama ... stressed he probably knows about Judaism more than any other president, because he read about it," Haaretz reports. "[He] wondered how come no one asks Speaker of the House of Representatives John Boehner or Senate minority leader Mitch McConnel [sic] about their support to Israel."
Similarly, he said to the group, "I [am] not going to tell you again how I even feel about Israel, but why [are] we still talking about it?"
He then suggested that he should not be questioned about his commitment to the Jewish state because "all his friends in Chicago were Jewish -

Obama’s narcissism is evident in his fixation on past presidents. Not only must he be exalted, he must be more exalted than his peer group.
He could easily have compared his knowledge of Judaism with say, Romney, other politicians, or even those in the media, but no, the comparison had to be with past presidents.
I know of no famous athlete, for example, that would dare attempt to compare himself to those of another era. It settles nothing and only makes them look arrogant and small. Obama possesses no such filter, his ego is completely uninhibited.
Our president exhibits a sort of social Turrette’s disease.

There’s a reason John Semmens’ posts are flagged “Satire,” and yet dozens of posters assume each one is real news. The whole world has gone ‘round the bend.
Sure he knows more about Judaism than any other president. That’s why he lit all 9 candles on the Menorah on the first night of Hannukah last year. The man’s ego is boundless.
In that regard, I've no doubt that The One may know more about the Palestinian view of the Jewish state than any prior President.
After all, the record shows that he and Moochelle had dinner every Saturday nite with that famed Palestinian scholar, Rashid Khalid and his wife.

Leaving aside the distinction between Israel and Judaism, Nutra Karta are Jews after all, I suspect every donor in the room knew exactly why no one asks Speaker of the House of Representatives John Boehner or Senate minority leader Mitch McConnel [sic] about their support to Israel. Like Willie Sutton and robbing banks. People question the support for Israel of people who don't support Israel, though only if claim such support.
Forget supporters of Israel, I can't recall a comment similar to this, my superior knowledge of Judaism, from anyone other than bigots. Pick your frame of reference, the internet, European and Islamic history, heck, the history of Europe in the last century. You'll find plenty of people touting their knowledge of Judaism and the character of Jews. Mostly Jewhaters. Which I don't believe Obama is, he's simply a victim of his own narcisism. Though that doesn't matter when the narcissist is setting policy.
Some good editorials on this piece of arrogance, I'll wait to post some till tomorrow. Maybe it will turn up on YouTube.
