You’re just an optimist, Joe, I’m not sure there are 15% of us who work for solid, fundamental, long-term-stable gov’t. I never believed we could get this wheel-less marxist wagon turned around in one election and that is the reason I will keep hammering Romney to help force him into the straight and narrow. I still remember Falwell and Robertson and the “silent majority” they put together to help get Reagan elected. They thot their job was done as soon as the election was over. But that movement left a lot of corrupt detritus in congress. There is no one election that will put the brakes on our slide. But the time for hand-sitting is over if we are to preserve the gift of our founders.
That gift was squandered when we ignored their warnings and instituted Universal Suffrage via Constitutional amendment.
DC will never fix the problem, DC IS the problem.
The sooner the collapse happens, (that would be when the SS and disability stop coming)the better.
Then it will be possible to start from scratch, first order of business moving the Capital out of DC and rotating it amongst the states.
