I know what you mean.
Here in Maine, it’s worse. There are few churches, most are liberal or milquetoast, not worth attending.
Not an easily accessible Missouri Synod to be found.
Let us remember our late friend Common Tator, who often said that politics is about making converts.
Many people who voted for Obama were doing so because they believed the hype, thought it would improve race relations, or thought Obama knew about how to fix the economy. Of course they were wrong.
It is VERY important that we get those people’s votes. Therefore, we need to give them an excuse. I suggest telling them the following:
“I know Obama sounded good. It’s the media’s fault for hiding all of his flaws and inexperience. They made it easy for Obama to get away with saying stuff that wasn’t quite true. Now look where we are.”
Let them BLAME THE MEDIA. Do not tell them that they should have been more diligent in their learning about the candidates. Deep in their hearts, they know this. Let them blame the media, and then give them a nice chat about increasing employment by opening up energy reserves, keeping manufacturing here with lower energy costs, and getting government out of healthcare, (In case you don’t know it, Muslims don’t have to be involved in Obamacare, which is my big killer point when people start griping about the Catholic hospitals and the lawsuit.)
Outstanding! Thanks for putting up with DNC Dave and then reporting to us.
I hope someone discusses L.O.S.T. (Law of the Sea Treaty). I hear McLame is for it. Gives up our soverengnty. Redistributes profits from off shore drilling.
I thought that darn LOST was dead. To see it resurrected in a lame duck session tells me the reason Lugar was so determined to run again.
He is compromised, and has been for some years.
I think McCain is just an idiot. He goes with anything that SOUNDS important without understanding the implications.
Sorry ace but my post was 99% designed to stay within the parameters of the thread which is analysis of the Sunday shows. You should try it yourself.
So you are 99% good guy and 1% ass. Be like Rush, try and improve to 99.xx %
True and we will. We have to pick our fights however. They have a number of minefields out there that we need to just ignore like contraception and others.
Great stuff here Bob!Double down on their mistakes! No on but obamba can do this as often as they do!!
The broader interpretation from Bain is where we can really sink the leaky demoncrat ship.
The thinking by them that our futures are better off depending on govt. rather than private enterprise is a sure loser. If we can make that case over and over; we win they lose.
EXCELLENT!
Ultimate proof of his disdain for the 1st Amendment's freedom of religion, and must be utilized in getting rid of America's first gay, moslem, communist, gay again, illegal alien, afrocentric-racist "president".
Truth is if we don't get enough independents to come over to our side, and women for that matter,we lose they win.
Speaking of Has Beens...
I don’t have a link and only just a bare memory. But there was a piece of news out last week that I read, I know I read it.
McCain plans to sponsor ANOTHER campaign finance law, he’s got some Democrat to sign on with him, replace Feinstein.
More than anything that Campaign Finance Reform law of his, “bi-partisan” and “reaching across the aisle”, was the essence of McCain.
Fooling around with the constitution to sound sort of liberal, appearing strong with valor as he appears brave enough to scare his colleagues into reporting their funds, plugging up another hole in these campaign laws that are like water....they find a way around.
At any rate, it was the essence of John McCain, that silly thing that he spent all his political capital on. His “fans” would admire he who want to eliminate the scourge of money in politics, not really caring if any of us wanted such a bill, just something to make him look good.
If you don’t buy this....okay, just stop reading here. Because it’s that stupid thing was and here we had a Communist groomed and ready to take the stage running against him and McCain threw it all away, indeed molded himself, to campaign finance reform.
All of us citizens wanted campaign finance reform. We couldn’t sleep for want of campaign finance reform. It was our dream, that upon which we would judge him ...campaign finance reform.
Only like the water mentioned, the money found a way around the campaign finance reform via SuperPacs, you gotta smile.
Now McCain got another Democrat and will likely spend the rest of his disgraced and mocked days as a loser, a failure, one who thought he could but he couldn’t, one who stepped upon his turn but knew not what to do or how to act.
Yeah...THAT John McCain. Forgive my rant but this guy blasts my calm.
We get to watch him dodder around the Senate, recruiting votes for campaign finance reform, until one day he shall take his last breath.
We got this to look forward to.
Anyway, I think it FeinGOLD....got it wrong above.
It was actually my pleasure. This is my first day off this month and I am thoroughly enjoying it. Especially after 3,200 miles last week from Pensacola to New Orleans to the Outer Banks back to the Keys.
(all that and no Obama/biden bumper stickers to be seen anywhere)
Not including those who gave up looking, those whose bennies ran out, and those who are underemployed.
If a republican was at the helm right now, what does one think the media would be reporting as the "real" numbers?
12? 15? 18?
The dem claims are based solely on bs, with no basis in fact or reality.
Those statements are made by liars for the ears of the gullible, the useful idiots.
Great report, good writing, loved your last sentence.
BRILLIANT!
It is a true disaster no doubt.
Here is just one link that views what may be ahead if the rinos win the day.

There is so much at stake here one wonders where to begin.
I will give you just one issue and how these things happen.
Take Costa Rica. In the fisheries world we have huge problems protecting billfish form commercial slaughter.
One billfish caught and released by sport fishermen becomes worth millions and is repeated over and over creating more millions in what has become a world wide capitalist economy of sustainable sport fishing.
ON the other hand longliners and other commercial interests are just as happy to kill marlin, sailfish, and other billfish for a one time reward of so much per pound. This destroys the livelihoods of others who opt for a more sustainable method of fishing.
Back to Costa Rica.
Enter China.
They go to the heads of fisheries regs, tell them they are willing to repave the country for fishing rights off the coast.
Will they win,heaven only knows.
If they do they will not only take billfish off the Costa Rican waters but other countries since these fish migrate from country to country.
It’s long and involved but if the UN gets put in charge instead of others it will be a bigger disaster than it is now.
Why don’t you be like a ghost and disappear, your additions to the thread are difficult to find.
