Wisconsin recall: DNCs Debbie Wasserman Schultz sees no national impact if Democrats lose
Posted by Felicia Sonmez at 03:38 PM ET, 05/25/2012
The chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee said Friday that if Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett (D) doesnt prevail over Gov. Scott Walker (R) in next months Wisconsin recall election, there wont be any ramifications for Democrats nationally.
I think, honestly, there arent going to be any repercussions, Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.) said in a broad-ranging interview on C-SPANs Newsmakers.
Its an election thats based in Wisconsin. Its an election that I think is important nationally because Scott Walker is an example of how extreme the tea party has been when it comes to the policies that they have pushed the Republicans to adopt, Wasserman Schultz said. But I think itll be, at the end of the day, a Wisconsin-based election, and like I said, across the rest of the country and including in Wisconsin, President Obama is ahead.

I love that woman. I think the RNC should offer her 10 minutes to speak at the convention(not prime time). Offer her $1k to $10k based on the ‘crazy meter’ scores and judged by pundits. The crazier she is the more she makes. Lot’sa fun.
.
Polling data must be abysmal.
She’s actually insulting the voters of Wisconsin. If she thinks Walker is an extremist - and the majority of voters cast their ballot for Walker - then what does that make them, in her eyes?
OTOH, a Walker win will probably cause more Dem congress-critters to disown Obummer and encourage Republicans nationwide.
She is implicitly admitting what the polls indicate-that Walker will win! I hope he does win. May the Good Lord help us!
She looks like Chelsea Clinton. Someone should post pics of both.
Oddly enough the spiked collar makes her look sexy....sorta...
If you breed Web Hubbell and DWS what do you get? Chelsea Clinton.
ahhhhh my eyes my eyes....I am turning to stone....
Not to mention, what do the Wisconsin voters think of "The Washrag"?
I have not been overconfident until seeing this headline.
I’m really beginning to believe that somewhere in the Republican ranks, there was a guy smart enough to infiltrate the Dem party and through slight of hand, guide DWS to positions of power.
The only other remote possibility for her current position is that Dems are even crazier than we think. And I doubt that they can be.
This is sure to please all the BIG UNION bosses.. To be told their massive spending and media agitation amount to a hill of beans.
Debbie had a target on her back from the beginning. Now it’s as big as a barn.
I’ll bet she goes before the DEM convention. Obama can’t stand her and he doesn’t want the convention coverage to turn into a Wasserman test.
I've always thought of it as a lightening rod. Could explain the scalp.
Would you HIT IT?
Please don't.
It's dinnertime and I'd like to keep my appetite, thank you very much.
The lefists always say the opposite of what they mean because they are engaging in propaganda and deception. They believe and know in their hearts, the defeat will rebound across the nation for Democrats and embolden their opponents everywhere!
Mayonnaise hair had to say this at this point because it’s exactly at the point they are in the greatest panic. This is a cry of desperation and despair from the head of the DNC.
It’s pure Schadenfreude for the Tea Party and all who believe in God, America, and freedom.
“Would you HIT IT?”
Does a bear $hit in the woods?
They’re hedging...!
