I was in Aspen Colorado one winter and fireplace used was banned because of weather conditions. It was cold but the smoke was low hanging and the wind was not moving it out of the valley. It has been a long time ago but I think I am remembering it correctly.

Preventing brushfires or the like is totally different. I can see a temporary ban in that case.

What I do see are Libtards trying to ban smoking food because they don’t like the smell of smoke just like they did with cigarettes.
