With more than half the population being a non-white 55.2 percent, Texas joins New Mexico, California, Hawaii, and Washington D.C. with a "majority-minority" status, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.
Majority-minority is a legal term used to describe a U.S. state that has a racial composition of less than 50 percent white. The Census Bureau defines individuals who are considered 'white' as non-Hispanics who have family origins in Europe, the Middle East, or North Africa.

If this be the case, then the State of Texas Affirmative Action Programs MUST now be geared to advance, promote, hire and protect the Caucasian Race in employment. It cannot be any other way.
How in any way does this meet any definition of ethnic cleansing?
I explained in extremely specific terms, exactly what I meant, in post 37. Are you truly that dense?
I won’t bore you with the constitution or anything but you might want to check into that whole retroactive for 10-15 years idea of yours. Hint, constitutionally speaking, it’s not.
Mike Rawlings, Dallas.
In post 37, you said it is all about race.
>>Hey, if Texas turns Democrat, the Republic is OVER.<<
You RACIST!!!

Why go freaked out angry and personal, I’m trying to make some sense of your posts.
No, you’re race-baiting, just like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, in a stupid and transparent way, and you’re making an ass of yourself.
You either have a learning disability or reading comprehension problems. Either that, or you have the IQ of a wet dishrag.
Bless your heart.
You sound as weird as he does, how is anyone race-baiting?
This is a thread about the changing racial makeup of Texas and how the new race votes, yet some are trying to say that race is in no way involved.
So you can’t explain his contradictions either, but you just felt the need to post something insulting to someone.
Whitey cannot be a "minority". "Minority" only has to do with who is the "oppressor in power" and that's always Whitey. (at least that's what they told me in college).
You called it. The liberals use words as a battering ram to silence dissenters. Since "majority" has been used as a dirty word and nearly always given to whites, they have to qualify it.
The slightly offended and hushed voice to reprove someone they wish to intimidate . "Oh you must be careful, that person is a minority ". They will not give up the term easily. I would like to see their faces if they were terminated from their job. Then see someone get ahead of them for a job and be told "that person is in a minority group". No justice such as this I will suppose.
Welcome to the club!
If the illegals do not vote, their American born anchor babies can vote in 18 years. Every anchor baby vote cancels out an American’s vote. Parkland Hospital has a thousand illegal alien baby births per month, how can they afford it? There has to be federal money going to Parkland or other hospitals that are doing the same thing. Who are the politicians who are working behind the scenes to bail out Parkland Hospital—Kay Baily Hutchison, Corwyn? How about Governor “heartless” Perry?
Texans are being conned by their “conservative” leaders. It is not enough to be for lower taxes, gun rights and anti-abortion, our nation is being invaded by millions of illegals and Texas is on the front lines looking the other way.
TEXAS IS A “CONSERVATIVE” SANCTUARY STATE.
And it took less than twenty years. I remember Pat Buchanan as a guest on a radio program in the nineties, he was the first to use the term “reconquista”. I believe that this was in the first half of the nineties. Year after year we have watched as the threat of the self-proclaimed “reconquistas” has grown until they finally have achieved their goal. How much are they going to take? As much as we will let them.
Legalized slavery.
I live in Massachusetts, and believe me, I do not want Texas to become another Massachusetts.
I agree that we have to have a window of 10-15 years. It is worth trying.
