Maybe they should just make a new “Southern Euro” and lump all the failed welfare states into it. The economic disconnect will still happen, anyway, but their leaders’ feelings won’t be as hurt and the Eurocrats in Brussels will get to keep their cushy jobs a while longer. :)

So where do you propose drawing the line that separates the ‘Northern Euro’ from the failed welfare states destined to become part of the ‘Southern Euro’...the Arctic Circle?
