There are 1000 reasons why progressives use the word “medieval” as a pejorative term.
Reason #42, is that cross-dressing was severely punished.
Reason #1 is that Aristotelean/Thomistic moderate realism prevailed in philosophy/theology. And if there’s one thing progressives/Hegelians/post-Modernists can’t abide, it’s the notion of objective reality.
They want to deny freedom in favor of equality, they want to block the joys that a disciplined Christian life provides under the guise of love of the libertine.
It’s always ok so long it is under the liberal’s clock. Unfortunately the liberal is so stupid, it cannot imagine the Bible, it cannot carry it, just like the devil, so it curses that inheritence like Esau did.
