Those AR Scotch-Irish crackers are part of the App S/I crackers.

They went from the mountains of PA right on down the ridges and the end of the line is, amazingly, east Texas.

I read a wonderful article about the ‘migration’ written by a linguist who was researching the bloodlines and language similarities.

You are, therefore, my distant kith and kin.

I had an east Texan call here asking about trike kits one day and his first words were “Please pardon my accent”.

I said “What accent?”

He sounded just like home.

Yeah that would be me too!!!! Love reading about our Scotch-Irish ancestors. These folks were truly bad asses.
