Why couldn’t other candidates raise more money from conservatives, when there is such a huge tea party/ conservative movement?
All you’re saying is, the others lost. They didn’t raise enough money, the media didn’t help them, and Romney’s attacks worked on them.
It’s hardly a conspiracy or rocket science, they just lost.
In any event, I assume this was not a likely voters poll?

“Adults” were polled so it is deliberately stupid.

No Williams, all I am saying, is that the worst candidate possible, from a conservative perspective, appears to have gained the nomination of the GOP.
A candidate whose record declares him to be a lying, left-wing, progressive liberal.
A candidate who, because he had more money, and because he is unafraid to lie about his opponents on a continual basis, was able to outlast his opponents.
A candidate who could not garner a majority of votes in any southern state in any conservative stronghold, but was able to handily win those states that were either moderate or liberal. He didn't win those states he needs to win in November and he won in those states he can't win in November.
