Ted Cruz, I like him.
However, can anyone tell me why he’s considered a minority?
He calls himself Italian, Irish and Cuban on his wikipedia page. He looks 100% caucasian to me. So why does his ‘Spanish-ness’, from his Cuban father, throw him and people like him, into the minority column? Shouldn’t he be just white, like say, Italians and Greeks are?
I’ve never heard Cruz being called a “minority”.....
I voted early.. and voted for Cruz.
The name “Cruz” would be the main reason the perception would be Hispanic.
