They were able to track down a H.S. prank involving Rommney in 1965. Don’t tell me they can’t do investigative reporting when they want to.
The alleged victim was dead. No one seemed to remember the event. No proof of prank.
Similarly, all someone would have to do is check the yearbook, find out who died, and make something up. No real heavy lifting required.
