What does she teach?
Near the end she states that she teaches social studies. She must have been asleep the day they taught that.
It doesn't appear that she is teaching anything, as far as course content...the students will probably leave her class more ignorant than when they started.
But they will have gained respect for the importance of diversity and the need for affirmative action, and have learned that differences must be debated in a civil and respectful manner.
