This is part of the problem. These wackos exist in an echo chamber. They just think they are superior to the rest and that just because they do it, it will be great.
This is why the last four years have been such a disaster, and why reelection is so unlikely. How this group of supposedly smart people decided to shift hard left since 2010 elections rather than go straight to the center and pass some decent legislation with the GOP to ensure four more years, I will never understand. The blueprint worked just 16 years beforehand, and half of that team is still in the executive branch.
They did not shift hard Left, they were already there.
After Obama’s election he selected people for his administration that were as ideologically pure as himself.
He then started the march of the Czars. He appointed Czars unvetted by the Senate to head up vast portions of the government. He also ballooned the payroll of the Federal government far more than any previous president.
All of this in the mind of Obama and his administration has cemented socialism in to the fabric of the United States to the point that it can never be dislodged. They may be right.
With both houses of Congress in their hands for the first two years Obama was able to fill the regulatory bureaucracy with ideologs of the socialist bent to the point that they will near impossible to remove. There influence will felt in government for the next 30 years. The young heads full of mush that entered government under Obama will become grey beards with power in time and they will drive the final nails in the coffin of capitalism if they have their way.
If we are to win we must educate the youth and arm them with truth we will have to drive out the peddlers of lies that inhabit the halls of academia.
