I simply provided you with an example ~ millions of Americans today have an ancestor who was a White Coat in the French army that lost to the Brits in Canada in the mid 1700s.

They don't even know those people existed ~ we are THEIR FUTURE.

Those fellows are hard to find in anyone's genealogy, but probability says they really are there but you have to look for them.
