If Romney is truly opposed to abortions, then maybe he could begin campaigning to outlaw all abortions.

Do you think we should go by what Romney might now say or by what Romney has said and done in the past?
I see him campaigning to overturn Roe v. Wade, which would enable the states to outlaw abortions in their state. That is the only realistic option I see in the foreseeable future, and it is the right next step to take. And it would be more--far more--than anything else we're been able to accomplish in the last 40 years.
Again, if you've got a better idea to get any laws against abortion anywhere, I'd like to hear it.
