Has God told you personally yet just when it is that the human spirit joins the newly conceived life? I’m sure you will be His first one to be informed, right?
Or is it possible you are one of those 'created 6,000 years ago" guys. Hmmm ~ makes me wonder.

Why is *at the moment of conception* not acceptable?
The only reason that I've ever run across for someone to question when life begins and argue that it's not at the moment of conception, is for the purpose or either abortion or embryonic research.
After all, if it's not a person, it's not murder to destroy it.
But how can a living organism with the full complement of human DNA, which is growing though cell division, not be considered a living human being?
It's growing, therefore it's alive.
It's genetic make up is human as a result of the union of a human sperm and human egg, therefore it's human.
Destroying that life is murder, by definition.
