I thought the morning after pill prevents conception rather then having an effect on an already conceived fetus. Am I wrong about this?

Yes, you’re wrong. It doesn’t just prevent conception. It prevents implantation in the uterus.

Which means it is also an abortifacient.

This is the moral equivalent of locking your two year-old outside in a snowbank in twenty below weather with no clothes on, and no food or water.

There’s no difference except stage of human development. Both individuals are fully human persons.
