I was one of those kids from seventh grade on through high school. For me, there is no "getting over it". Along with what was going on in my home during the same time frame, there was no respite or reprieve. I don't "wallow in self pity", but it has affected my whole life. Understanding now as an adult that those tormentors were "just kids" doesn't make the feelings of worthlessness, depression, and hopelessness that it instilled in me go away. And for your information, it doesn't "happen to everybody". Certain kids are singled out for various reasons. Hard a$$ people like you, who have no compassion have no idea what it can be like for a kid to go to school and deal with bullying day in and day out, year after year.

I went ape-sh*t on two bullies on two seperate occasions. Peter, and Mike, their names were.

After I went insane on 'em, punching with everything I had, like a machine with no off switch, and totally whipped their little punk a&&es, THEY avoided ME.

Good life lesson.

And WHY??? In the name of God, would you allow someone in your past, someone of low character steal you life from you, any part of it, in any way?? Think about how they kind of stole your childhood, DO NOT allow them to have any effect on or steal you present and future!
