Yeah I heard that argument 4 years ago when “RudyMcRomney” was running. We’d be better off without one of them so we’d unite and then stop the dim who was elected.
Well after 4 years of obama .....maybe 8....do you really think that argument holds any water at all?
And how has falling in line behind the quadrennial RINO of choice worked out? Do you honestly think we’ll get even a center-right candidate next time because we go along with them again?
I drew a line going into this primary — I’d have accepted pretty much anyone running except Paul (for his dangerous view of foreign policy) and Romney. (And probably Huntsman, for running to the left of Romney, but let’s get realistic.)
Even candidates I didn’t care much for, I would have been fine with, but Romney is not just a step over the line, he’s so far over it the line can’t be seen any more. Romney will take the country to hell in a handbasket just as fast as Obama will, because a GOP Congress will be less interested in slowing him down. But hey, maybe you get a tax cut along the way, so all’s good, right?
