Great, another person that won't vote against Obama. BRILLIANT!!! Four More Years, Four More Years, Four More Years...
Yep. There is a small coterie here on FR (it is a very small minority but the same names always show up) that would prefer to live in misery for “Four More Years”, rather than bend their cherished “standards” a bit (which of course is the definition of politics).
We may not like some of the things Romney has done, but being Governor of a very liberal state like MA (I lived there for four years) is much different than being the President of the US. (I often think of Thomas a Becket when he became Archbishop of Canterbury... he didn’t do what Henry II expected of him).
I will vote for Romney, and, for the first time in my life, actively campaign for a presidential candidate. At least with Romney, he will have to listen to the people (including conservatives) who elected him. Anyone here who thinks Obumbler will listen to them is a fool.
And finally, I have two kids serving in the military, and Obama scares the he11 out of me.
