Seems our enemies had a problem with being on the other side of the device featuring that verse. Our military actually got directives to remove the references, lest our enemies (being shot at) object to the wording.
These ACOGs are 6-9yrs old (varies with purchase of firearm), so maybe the newer models don’t have the *verses*. But now that I know mine have them, I’ll never let them go for any reason. They’re officially “Family Heirlooms”, as are all my Class III Weapons in the huge dbl-door Cannon T65 Safe.
